The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) programme is a globally recognised networking certification course designed to develop the essential knowledge and practical skills required to build, configure, operate, and troubleshoot modern computer networks.
This programme introduces students to fundamental networking concepts including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, wireless technologies, network security, automation fundamentals, and network services. Students gain hands-on experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, and network devices through practical laboratory activities and real-world scenarios.
The course prepares learners to understand enterprise network architectures, implement secure network solutions, and troubleshoot common networking issues effectively. It also develops industry-relevant skills required by organisations adopting modern IT infrastructure and cloud-connected environments.
Successful completion of CCNA training provides a strong foundation for careers in networking, system administration, and cyber security while creating opportunities to progress towards advanced certifications such as CCNP, Cyber Security qualifications, and higher education pathways in computing and network engineering.
